TRANS SPORT SHOW 2008 - ENTRY # 01 - 20

Sleek cars all restored and customized for show competition are the main attractions in this years Trans Sport Show held in SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1 - 3 which ran from April 16 - 20, 2008. With the theme "A Tradition of Auto Restoration", the cars on display impress visitors as they were treated to an eyeful of vintage cars looking good a new, award winning sports cars, flashy paint jobs and customized cars.

M.I.A.S. 2008 - COMPETITIONS AND MORE CARS

Several competitions were held during the M.I.A.S. event such as the Classic Car Competition, AUTOSPEED Custom Car Competition and the EMMA Mobile Media Sound Competition.

SINAG
On display in the lobby of the WTC was the Ford SINAG solar car, built by a group of faculty members and students from the mechanical engineering departments of De La Salle University, with support from Ford Phil., Motolite, Philippine Airlines, San Miguel Corp, Shell, Sunpower, U-Freight and Ventus, the first Philippine solar car made its debut in the World Solar Challenge 2007 in Australia.

M.I.A.S. 2008 - GIRLS

No auto show would be complete without the lovely promo girls & models who posed & smiled for the visitors all day. Half if not most of the shots the visitors took in the event were those of the girls and them with the girls.

Aside from the promo girls, the event also featured an FHM bikini Car Wash, Race Wars Bikini Fashion show (which I missed) & the T3 model photo shoot demonstrating how a magazine cover is shot.

M.I.A.S. 2008 - HIGHLIGHTS

The 4-day Manila International Auto Show 2008 dubbed the biggest motoring event of the year was held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

This year's theme "Imagination in Motion" left nothing to the imagination of car enthusiasts as they had an eyeful of the exhibitions and launching of new cars models from various car companies. Not only were they able to see & photograph the cars, a lot of them were even able to get into the driver's seat to have a feel of the new models.

The auto show was so big that it extended to the air-conditioned tent up to the the back lot where special guest, Guinness Record Holder for Precision Driving Russ Swift held his precision driving exhibition.

And for racing fans, Japan's Super Car - the Nissan 350Z JGTC (Japan Grand Touring Car Competition) Motul Pitwork was on display courtesy of Motul-Bridgestone Philippines. This was probably one of the most photographed car in the event.
